Online Essay Contest Offers California Lovers a Free Weekend at a Napa Valley Cottage
SONOMA, Calif., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Here's a heads-up for California lovers looking to do something different this Valentine's Day: They can enter BeautifulPlaces' essay competition to win a free two-day Valentine's Weekend stay at a 2BR/1BA cottage in St. Helena, the heart of Napa Valley.
The house, fronted by an award-winning English rose garden, is surrounded by flowers, herb plants and fruit trees. The backyard has a patio, barbecue and outdoor fireplace, and the interior features oak floors, a fireplace and queen beds in both bedrooms. St. Helena's charming downtown is a short walk away.
The competition sponsor, BeautifulPlaces (http://www.beautiful-places.com/), will also offer a dinner for two ($60 value) at a Napa Valley restaurant.
How to Win: Write up to 150 words on, "Why I Want to Spend a Free Weekend in Wine Country With My Sweetie." Entries will be judged on the basis of originality. BeautifulPlaces will declare a winner on Saturday, February 5, and publish the winning entry on its web site. (If the winner requests, his/her name will not be published.)
