Best Western Warms Up Winter Travel With Free Gift Card

Gold Crown Club International Members to Receive Special Reward With Every Two Stays

PHOENIX, Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ — The world’s largest hotel chain is taking the chill off winter by rewarding members of its Gold Crown Club International (GCCI) loyalty program with a free Best Western(R) Travel Card(TM).

GCCI customers who stay at any two Best Western hotels in the U.S., Canada or Caribbean between now and March 12, 2005, will receive the special $20 (U.S.) travel card, which can be put toward their next stay at any of the more than 4,100 Best Western properties worldwide.

“Best Western guests can count on quality service and guaranteed amenities no matter where their travels may take them,” said Karmela Gaffney, regional field marketing director for Best Western. “Now, they can also experience the added security, flexibility and convenience that the Best Western Travel Card brings to life on the road.”

To be eligible for this select reward, GCCI members must register online prior to their first stay at www.bestwesterntravel.com or call 1-800-WESTERN and mention promotion code “Stay 2.” Individuals who have not already joined GCCI may sign up for the free frequent guest program when registering for the promotion.

Customers can earn additional $20 Best Western Travel Cards with every two stays they make at different properties within the specified promotional period. The cards will be mailed to recipients six-to-eight weeks after their second stay.

The Best Western Travel Card is used by guests to pay for both accommodations and related incidentals, such as room service and phone charges*, at member hotels across the globe. It is available to all customers for purchase in U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars, euros, British pounds, Swiss francs, Swedish kroners, Norwegian kroners and Danish kroners. Offered in any denomination between $25 and $1,000 U.S./euro (or equivalent in other currencies), it can easily be reloaded or have value added instantly by visiting www.travelcard.bestwestern.com or by calling 1-877-CARD-2TVL (227-3288).

Launched in 1988, Best Western’s Gold Crown Club International loyalty program is one of the industry’s few truly international travel clubs. Members around the world can earn points towards an extensive array of product and service awards — including free room nights — at Best Western hotels throughout North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
