Eight at Eight Hosts Be My Valentine Treasure Hunt for Singles

DENVER, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- As the year's most romantic holiday, Valentine's Day is traditionally celebrated by couples with greeting cards, flowers, romantic dinners and more. This year, Denver's largest population segment, professional single men and women, will be celebrating and treasuring February 14th a different way.

Today, Eight at Eight announced its Be My Valentine Treasure Hunt event for singles. On Monday, February 14, singles will follow clever clues to exciting downtown hotspots, and find treats, adventure and entertainment along the way. The first clue will be given at 6:00 pm at the Rattle Brain Theatre located at 1601 Arapahoe Street.

"The search for what to do on Valentine's Day has now ended. This is the most unique singles event of the year. In 2005, Valentine's Day is for singles, and those who join in this adventure will have fun and meet others along the way," said Mindy Shwayder, membership director for Eight at Eight, Denver's premiere dinner club for singles. "And if new to Denver, this event will offer a fun and unique introduction to the city's bars and restaurants."

Co-sponsored by The Denver Hunt, the valentine treasure hunt is scheduled to last approximately two hours and prizes will be awarded on a team and individual basis. The final stop of the hunt will lead participants to a happy hour, where teams can mingle and prizes will be given. Participants will uncover the happy hour location through the last clue.
