ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced that the newly redesigned inflight magazine, entitled Go, made its debut today, February 1st, on all AirTran Airways planes. Ink Publishing, of London, England, has assumed production responsibilities for the airline's inflight magazine.

Go, which will be published bi-monthly until August when it will be distributed once a month, boasts a wide array of literary content for today's travelers -- from high-powered business strategies to do-it-yourself facials. Regular features will include sports-themed articles, reports on unique travel destinations, automotive and technology reviews, hot celebrity trends, fashion and shopping tips, and hip food and drink recipes.

According to Robert L. Fornaro, AirTran Airways' president and chief operating officer, "Passengers have come to expect a higher quality of entertainment when they reach into their seatbacks." He adds, "We feel Go will set a new standard for inflight magazines. One thing that both Ink Publishing and AirTran Airways share is a passion for innovation and success."

AirTran Airways chose Ink Publishing, the world's largest publisher of inflight magazines, based on their experience and reputation for creating dynamic print and online content for airline passengers. The principal objective for the 132-page Go is to offer AirTran Airways' travelers quick information and enthralling articles in a stylized, contemporary format.

"By building on our extensive experience in producing titles for the airline industry, we intend to deliver one of the best inflight magazines in the country," commented Jeffery O'Rourke, chief executive, Ink Publishing. "AirTran Airways offers a great service, and their forward-thinking outlook has given us an opportunity to develop an online and offline publication that speaks specifically to their passengers in an intelligent, entertaining and uniquely interactive format."
