2006 Michigan Travel Ideas Now Available

A free 120-page magazine filled with Great Lakes adventures

LANSING, Mich., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ — The new 2006 Michigan Travel Ideas magazine is now available from Travel Michigan, the state’s tourism promotion office (http://www.michigan.org/ ). The 120-page travelogue of Michigan attractions, destinations and listings of events is framed by full color photography, feature articles and travel tips.

Arriving just in time for Super Bowl XL in Detroit, football fans and hundreds of visiting media will be the first to receive the 2006 edition of Michigan Travel Ideas. “It’s perfect timing to deliver the new edition and make it available to thousands of people visiting Detroit for the big game,” said Travel Michigan Vice President George Zimmermann. Travel Michigan will distribute 850,000 copies of the magazine, which was produced in cooperation with its publishing partner Midwest Living.

2006 Edition Highlights

From Exploring Shipwreck Coasts to Zoom!, a kid’s guide to Michigan attractions, the magazine is filled with exciting ways to experience the Great Lakes State.
