The city that gave the world Live Aid is about to step into the spotlight again, with an announcement tomorrow of an unprecedented, star-studded concert and fundraising event to mark the nation's birthday this coming July 4.
The news conference will be held on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 9 at 5:00 PM SHARP in the Mayor's Reception Room in Philadelphia's City Hall, Room 202.
World-renowned entertainer Sir Elton John will be making a live appearance by satellite from Caesars Palace Las Vegas, which will be available to all media, courtesy of WPVI-TV 6ABC.
