The 12th Annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York Opens Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 9th

NEW YORK, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ — Discover the latest trends in culinary cuisine and specialty foods when the 12th Annual International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York opens on Wednesday, February 9th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The Show will house over 600 exhibitors, several special focus product pavilions and nearly 1,000 product lines. Over 20,000 industry professionals representing restaurants, hotels/motels, bars/clubs/lounges, catering establishments, delis, supermarkets, and cruise-lines, are expected to attend. Industry professionals will find everything from coffee and espresso machines, to new trends in table china and the newest foods and wines from around the world.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Super Star Culinary Demonstrations: A dozen of New York’s finest chefs will showcase their talents at demonstrations hosted by the prestigious Vatel Club. Demonstrations will be held on Wednesday, February 9 and Thursday, February 10. The competition will take place on Friday, February 11.

The 16th Annual U.S. Pastry Competition: A world-class event hosted by Paris Gourmet offers the opportunity to view first-hand, incredible displays of edible art created by dozens of the nation’s top pastry chefs who will be competing for the world famous title of “Pastry Chef of the Year.” Participants represent some of the most notable restaurants and foodservice establishments from across the country including New York City establishments.

R&I New Product Showcase: The showcase will be packed with the newest products introduced into the marketplace including food products, industrial supplies, and the latest technology to make business transactions more efficient.

Specialty Pavilions: The show will feature several special product area pavilions on the show floor where attendees will have the chance to see the latest trends and innovations in specialties that include beer, wine and spirits, hospitality, Italian food/pizza, coffee and tea, gourmet food and more.
