Coach Care Opens Newest Service Center at Louisville RV Dealership
Nation's Largest Indoor RV Showroom Becomes Home to Network's First Dealership Location
MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Coach Care announced the expansion of its network with the opening of its newest location in Louisville, Ky. Housed at "Tom Stinnett's R.V. Freedom Center," the nation's largest indoor RV showroom, the new facility is a unique situation for the network in that it is the first Coach Care located at an RV dealership rather than at a Cummins service center.
Coach Care and Cummins Cumberland, the service center that serves the Louisville area, made the strategic decision to lease space at the dealership to take advantage of its highly visible, high-traffic location on I-65 in Louisville. In addition to the benefit of the dealership location, the potential to raise Coach Care's visibility among RVers from across the region was also a significant factor.
"If we see a positive response to this facility, we could potentially see more Coach Care centers at dealerships in the future in areas where certifying the local Cummins service center may not be feasible due to location or being able to meet facility requirements," said Onan's Coach Care development manager, Bill Gibson. "The key to this however is that the local Cummins distributor is always involved as an active participant providing, at a minimum, engine, generator and chassis service."
Located throughout the country near some of America's most popular RV destinations, each Coach Care facility offers RVers one-stop, "bumper-to- bumper" warranty work. In addition to servicing Onan generators and Cummins engines, each Coach Care center partners with chassis and accessory manufacturers (HWH, Workhorse, Spartan) and appliance manufacturers (Atwood, Suburban, RVP, Norcold) to provide a full range of warranty services.
Currently, Onan has Coach Care facilities located in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.
