Legendary Golfer Steve Melnyk Joins Sea Island to Assist in Developing Communities as Unsurpassed Golf Destinations

SEA ISLAND, Ga., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ — Golf champion Steve Melnyk has joined Sea Island Company as Director of Real Estate Projects and will be involved in all phases of planning, development and sales of future residential properties. Golfers will know Melnyk as the 1969 U.S. Amateur Champion, the 1971 British Amateur Champion, and a 1969 and 1971 Walker Cup Team member. He then joined the PGA tour in 1971 and has served as a golf analyst for CBS Sports and ABC Sports.
