Continental Airlines Implements Codesharing With Air France, Widening European Network From Paris

HOUSTON, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) today announced that it will begin codesharing with Air France on Feb. 26, 2005, allowing Continental customers to more easily access 12 additional destinations in Europe and the Middle East on flights operated by Air France from Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.

Destinations served by Air France from Charles De Gaulle airport under the 'CO' code include: Vienna, Austria; Biarritz, France; Bordeaux, France; Marseille, France; Montpellier, France; Nantes, France; Strasbourg, France; Lyon, France; Nice, France; Toulouse, France; Porto, Portugal; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. More destinations are expected to be announced in the upcoming months.

Members of Continental's frequent flyer program, OnePass, are able to earn and redeem miles on Air France flights. Continental's BusinessFirst customers and Presidents Club members have access to the Air France lounge in Paris.

The new codesharing is being implemented as part of Continental and Air France's membership in the SkyTeam alliance, which includes seven other airlines.
