China World Trade Corporation Establishes Direct Sale Center With China Southern Airlines
Company's Business Traveling Services Division Further Expands Travel-Related Service Offerings
TIANHE, Guangzhou, China, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China World Trade Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: CWTD) announced today that New Generation Group, a subsidiary of China World Trade Corporation, together with the Guangzhou Branch of China Southern Airlines have jointly established a new Direct Sale Center next to the Guangzhou East Railway Station in Tianhe. The East Railway Station serves as a transportation hub connecting Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen and other cities within the province.
Mr. Chi Hung Tsang, Chairman and President of China World Trade Corporation remarked, "We are very excited about our partnership with China Southern Airlines. Both companies' headquarters are located in Guangzhou, which makes resource sharing with China Southern Airlines a logical step for the growth of our services. We strongly believe this agreement will be mutually beneficial to our customers by adding the airlines travel-related service offerings to our clients and members."
Under the joint agreement, New Generation Group will manage and operate the Direct Sale Center, providing direct air ticketing sales and seat reservation priorities on behalf of all China Southern Airlines flights departing from Guangzhou. In addition, the Direct Sale Center will also provide the one and only "city check-in" service in Guangzhou to customers with luggage check in. The Direct Sale Center will also provide customers with a full range of packaged ground services, including door-to-door ticket delivery, airport pickup and pre-boarding service.
Mr. Li Xiumo, General Manager of China Southern Airlines Guangzhou branch commented, "Although we have set up other direct sale centers in the province, this one with China World Trade Corporation is the most meaningful because it can generate business-related transactions with both domestic and international business travelers."
