Continental Airlines Begins Twice-Daily Service Between Houston and Del Rio, Texas

HOUSTON, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) will begin twice-daily service between the Texas border town of Del Rio and the airline's hub in Houston on Thursday, March 3, 2005. Operated by Continental Connection partner Colgan Air, the flights provide Del Rio passengers their only scheduled commercial airline service.

The flight schedule is:

Continental Connection will operate the Del Rio-Houston flights with 34-seat SAAB 340 aircraft. The flights are conveniently timed to connect to Continental's global route network. Continental and its regional partners offer more than 660 daily flights from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston to more than 175 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.

Del Rio, located in the Middle Rio Grande area of South Texas on the border with Ciudad Acuna, Mexico, is near the popular Amistad National Recreation Area.
