Guatemala and Florida Resorts Added to The World’s Finest Resorts’ Locations

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 2 /PRNewswire/ — Guatemala and Florida have been added to the roster of World’s Finest Resorts, bringing WFR members more than 50 locations from which to choose. Since forming two years ago, The World’s Finest Resorts (WFR) has selected the highest quality member resorts and vacation entities including Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe, Vermont, Poets Cove Seaside Resort and Spa at Bedwell Harbour in the Pender Island off Vancouver Islands, The Hemingways in Sun Valley Idaho, and East-West Partners’ Old Greenwood to name a few.

On its east coast of Guatemala is WFR’s new affiliate, Club Amatique Bay. Just 20 nautical miles south of Belize, this private residence club is the first of its kind in this corner of the world, and The World’s Finest Resort’s initial entree into South America.

Club Amatique Bay, located on a hilltop on a tiny peninsula features magnificently appointed 3,400-square-foot colonial-inspired villas lined with sandstone patios and incredible views. The open living areas fit Guatemala’s perfect climate as do each villa’s infinity edge pool, outdoor kitchen and lounge area. The resort also offers full services including a selection of spa treatments; in-villa chef’s dining experiences and complete pampering programs.

Tate Watson, developer of Private Latitudes (Santa Rosa Beach, Florida) says, “We chose WFR because of their comprehensive knowledge of this business and their obvious commitment to the developer and the members. We look forward to offering our fractional owners all of the opportunities of world wide exchange so they experience fractional ownership with many exceptional privileges.”

WFR’s recent Florida affiliate taps into beach homes on Florida’s Emerald Coast. Private Latitudes has a particularly unique niche to shared ownership with private $2-$6 million dollar homes.

Each Private Latitudes Home is either brand new or close to it and all have Gulf or Ocean views; they are fully furnished and outfitted with all top of the line furnishings, accessories, appliances and interior design touches any fine upscale home would have.

Although WFR’s primary function is to provide trade benefits for luxury resort and residential resort owners, WFR Members and owners are also able to use the inherent value of their ownership for dramatic price reductions on luxury travel and cruise programs with the finest independent companies in the world. They may also purchase specially selected travel programs at a WFR Member-only price, rent other accommodations available within the Collection for their use and trade time in their accommodations.
