Delta Offers Customers More Reasons to Fly to the 2005 Masters Golf Tournament

Airline adds more than 2,000 seats for travel between Atlanta and Augusta during Masters week

AUGUSTA, Ga., March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) is making it easier for customers to stroll among the azaleas during 2005 Masters week at the legendary Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. The airline is adding 15 flights -- or more than 2,000 seats -- between Augusta and its largest hub in Atlanta from April 6-11 to accommodate increased demand for this year's Masters Tournament.

"We take pride in adding additional capacity for this premier sporting event," said Doug Blissit, vice president-Network Analysis. "The Masters is a world-renowned event and these additional flights will provide more convenient access to Augusta National Golf Club for thousands of Delta customers."

The additional flights will be operated by Delta and Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) using MD-88, Boeing 737, Boeing 757 and Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. The flights are in addition to ASA's year- round schedule of nine daily flights between the two Georgia cities.
