FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines Cargo(SM) division today announced a new program that will allow AACargo customers to earn travel rewards for booking cargo shipments online through its AACargo.com Web site. The program, which will be administered through the American Airlines Business ExtrAA(R) Web site, allows member companies to earn credits toward free travel certificates, upgrades and Admirals Club(R) memberships for qualified shipments as well as for business travel on American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection(R).

Business ExtrAA is an incentive program that allows companies to manage business travel and earn points for awards. Once enrolled, American Airlines Cargo customers will be able to accumulate Business ExtrAA Points based on their volumes and level of participation in online booking through the AACargo.com Web site.

"Now, American Airlines Cargo customers can take full advantage of the Business ExtrAA program, earning points for qualified shipments on American Airlines, as well as for their business travel," said Dave Brooks, President of American Airlines Cargo Division. "By linking these awards to our online booking capability, we're giving customers an incentive to take advantage of the value that AACargo.com provides."

"The Business ExtrAA program has brought value to American's passengers for several years," said David Cush, American's Vice President and General Sales Manager. "Now, we are pleased to introduce the program to AA's cargo customers. With the opportunity to earn travel rewards for both passenger travel and cargo shipments, American is proving once again that we are dedicated to providing the programs and services that our customers value."

Online booking provides convenience and cost savings to American's cargo customers, and enhances productivity for both customers and AA Cargo.
