ATA Airlines Expands Codeshare with Southwest Airlines ATA's Phoenix Flights to Honolulu and Maui Welcome Southwest Customers

INDIANAPOLIS, March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ATA Airlines, Inc., principal operating subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (ATAHQ), today announced that effective immediately the Indianapolis-based airline has expanded its codeshare with Southwest Airlines by adding the routes between Phoenix and Hawaii to the agreement. The new codeshare destinations are available today for sale on http://www.ata.com/ or by calling 1-800-iflyata.

"This is an exciting addition to our codeshare agreement," said Doug Yakola, ATA's Senior Vice President of Customers and Ground Operations. "We are looking forward to serving our new Customers on this easy connection to the Hawaiian Islands. Now travelers from more than a dozen new cities will have the opportunity to fly to Hawaii via a low-cost travel option. At the same time, our loyal Hawaiian Customers now have a whole host of expanded destinations on the Mainland to visit."

ATA's Codeshare Flights via Sky Harbor International Airport to Hawaii include:

* Nonstop ATA flights from Phoenix to Honolulu International Airport
(HNL) with Southwest Airlines Customers in these cities connecting on
an ATA flight: Albuquerque, Austin, Birmingham, Baltimore, El Paso,
Ft. Lauderdale, Houston (Hobby), Islip (Long Island), Nashville,
Providence, Raleigh/Durham, San Antonio*, Salt Lake City, St. Louis and
Tampa.

* Nonstop ATA flights from Phoenix to Maui International Airport (OGG)
with Southwest Customers in these cities connecting on an ATA flight:
Albuquerque, Austin, Chicago-Midway, Houston (Hobby), Norfolk*,
Orlando*, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Providence, Raleigh/Durham and St.
Louis.

In addition to the Phoenix flights, ATA also operates significant air service to Hawaii from Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. During the summer peak travel season, ATA will operate 62 weekly round-trips from its four gateways cities on the Mainland to Hawaii. Beginning April 3, the Honolulu and Maui service from Phoenix expands from two weekly flights to six. Effective on June 7, the flights increase to daily service.
