US Airways Offers Systemwide Sale

ARLINGTON, Va., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — US Airways is offering exceptional deals on systemwide travel, with domestic fares starting at $118* roundtrip, and international fares as low as $133* roundtrip.

Under this sale, tickets must be purchased by Mar. 13, 2005. Travel must be completed by May 19, 2005, for U.S., Canada and Caribbean destinations, and between March 28 and April 30, 2005, for European destinations.

Fares shown are based on required roundtrip Coach travel. For the fares shown, service is provided by US Airways except where noted. Part of the service may be provided by US Airways Express carriers 1-Air Midwest, 2- Chautauqua, 3-Colgan, 4-Mesa, 5-Piedmont, 6-PSA, or 7-Trans States. Fares do not include a federal excise tax of $3.20, which will be imposed on each flight segment of the itinerary — a flight segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing. Fares do not include the September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 per itinerary. Sale fare requirements: Tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance of travel for U.S., Canada and European destinations (three days for Caribbean/Latin America), within 24 hours of making the reservation, and no later than March 13, 2005. For U.S. and Canada destinations, a minimum one- night or Saturday-night stay may be required, depending on the market. For the Caribbean/Latin America, a minimum two-night or Saturday-night stay is required, whichever comes first. For Europe, a Saturday-night stay is required. For the Caribbean/Latin America and Europe, a maximum 30-day stay is allowed. Fares shown are valid for travel Mondays-Thursdays.

After the initial reservation, cancellations or changes are permitted for up to 24 hours; after 24 hours, tickets become nonrefundable. If the entire reservation is canceled on or before the scheduled date of travel, the ticket will retain value and can be used toward another nonrefundable ticket less a $100 US Airways administrative fee ($200 for Europe), up to one year after its original issue date. New travel must originate within one year from the date of issue. Any subsequent changes to the exchanged tickets will incur at minimum an additional $100 fee ($200 for Europe). If the reservation is not canceled on or before the original travel date, the entire ticket will have no further value. Tickets are non-transferable. Seats are limited and may be sold out on some flights or dates or during holiday periods. Lower fares may be available in these markets. Fares are not available in all markets. Other conditions may apply.
