American Airlines to Reward Monetary Donations of $50 or More With 500 AAdvantage(R) Miles

FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines today announced a special reward of 500 AAdvantage bonus miles for anyone who donates a minimum of $50 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Efforts.

"In this time of need, we wish to reward those who step forward to support the American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts," said Kurt Stache, President - AAdvantage Marketing. "The devastation and personal suffering brought about by this disaster impacts us all. Our prayers and sympathies go out to all those affected by this terrible event."

Program Details

American is offering its AAdvantage members a one-time reward of 500 AAdvantage bonus miles for donations of $50 or more to the American Red Cross between August 31 and September 30, 2005.

* You must be an AAdvantage member to receive the bonus miles. To
enroll, visit http://www.aa.com/aadvantage .
* Members will need to fax or mail their donation receipt to the
AAdvantage Customer Service office. The AAdvantage account number of
the member must be written on the receipt.
