American Airlines Again Offers Lifetime Admirals Club Memberships
|
FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- For the first time since 1997, American Airlines is offering Lifetime Admirals Club Memberships.
Through Dec. 31, 2005, Lifetime Memberships are available for $5,500, with a $200 discount for customers who are already members of American Airlines Admirals Club. Those 65 and over can sign up for $2,500, with current members again getting $200 off that price.
"Our Admirals Clubs members expressed interest in purchasing a Lifetime Membership, so we brought back this offer based on that feedback," said Nancy Knipp, Managing Director of Premium Services for American.
American operates more than 40 Admirals Club locations in airports throughout the world, each offering a host of business tools and convenient services in a professional, secluded environment. In addition, many lounges offer a spa-like shower area, flat-screen TVs showing DirecTV and a children's room with computers and TVs that show Nickelodeon and the Cartoon Network.
American is expanding its network to better serve its members. The airline recently opened new Clubs in Honolulu and at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. American will open additional clubs in Dallas/Fort Worth and in Miami in the coming months.
