AirTran Airways to Expand Westward from Akron-Canton With Nonstop Service to Las Vegas

Flights Begin This Summer with $99 Introductory Fare

ORLANDO, Fla., May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced the airline will expand its route map westward from Akron-Canton and add new roundtrip flights to Las Vegas this summer. The new nonstop flights, five times weekly, will begin August 4, 2005, and will be served by the airline’s popular Boeing 737 aircraft.
