AirTran Airways Offers Introductory Fares for Travel To/From Charlotte and Indianapolis

ORLANDO, Fla., March 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched introductory fares for flights to/from the airline’s newest destinations, Charlotte and Indianapolis. Travelers may purchase these introductory fares at or via AirTran Airways’ reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.

These introductory fares are available for purchase through March 31, 2005, and are good for travel through June 16, 2005. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

On April 9th, the airline will begin new daily nonstop flights between Indianapolis and both Atlanta and Tampa, with daily nonstop flights between Indianapolis and Orlando starting June 7. New service to Charlotte begins May 4th with daily nonstop flights to both Atlanta and Baltimore, with connecting service to other destinations.

AirTran Airways is also offering double credits to its A+ Rewards members for all travel booked at to or from Charlotte and Indianapolis between March 16 and June 30, 2005. Travel for this offer must be completed by June 30, 2005.
