AirTran Airways To Resume Service To Gulfport-Biloxi On September 13th

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced that the airline will resume service from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport beginning Tuesday, September 13, 2005.

"We are very happy to announce that we are resuming service to the Gulf Coast region," said Robert L. Fornaro, AirTran Airways' president and chief operating officer. "We are committed to helping the Gulfport-Biloxi community rebuild following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and we will work closely with the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport to assess demand and put flights back into the area as needed."
