AirTran Airways Launches 48-Hour Fare Sale

Take Advantage of Sale Fares Starting as Low as $39*

ORLANDO, Fla., March 14 /PRNewswire/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched a sale for travel to and from most of the airline’s destinations with fares starting as low as $39*. These special fares are available for purchase through March 15, 2006, and are good for travel through August 24, 2006. Fares are not valid for travel on Sundays or to/from Florida or Grand Bahama Island. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

*All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $50 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Ten-day advance purchase required.
