AirTran Airways Launches Sale for Travel to All Destinations Booked on AirTran.com

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched a sale for travel to all of the airline's destinations with fares starting as low as $39 each way when booked on the airline's new web site at http://www.airtran.com/.
"The new airtran.com web site provides an even easier way to find the lowest fares," said Tad Hutcheson, Director of Marketing for AirTran Airways, "the new online fare matrix points out all available sales for more convenience when booking upcoming travel plans."
These special fares, available for purchase August 2 through August 16, are good for travel through November 17, 2005, and are not valid for travel on Fridays or Sundays. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $50 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Ten-day advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by August 16, 2005. Travel must be completed by November 17, 2005. Lowest advertised fares are available for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Additional sale fares are valid for travel on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Fares are not valid for travel on Fridays or Sundays. Seats are limited, subject to availability and may not be available on all flights. Blackout dates are as follows: September 2 and 5, 2005. Fares, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. Fares do not include per- segment tax of $3.20. A segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. The September 11th security fee of up to $10 is not included. Airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 are not included. Fares to/from Grand Bahama Island do not include U.S. and Bahamian taxes of $87.15.
