AirTran Airways Launches Sale For Travel to/from All Destinations

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched a sale for travel to all of the airline’s destinations with fares starting as low as $34 each way. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at http://www.airtran.com/ or via AirTran Airways’ reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.

These special fares are available for purchase September 6 through September 20, 2005, are good for travel through February 1, 2006, and are not valid for travel on Sundays. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $50 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Seven-day advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by September 20, 2005. Travel must be completed by February 1, 2006. Lowest advertised fares are available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Additional sale fares are valid for travel on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Fares are not valid for travel on Sundays.
