Internet Users Can Log onto airtran.com to Give to the American Red Cross and Salvation Army

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today announced that it has provided links on its Web site, airtran.com, that will allow Internet users to donate money to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The links allow users to access the Web sites of the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, two well-respected humanitarian service relief agencies. All donations will be used to provide food, water, medicine, clothes and shelter to the victims.
