AirTran Airways Launches Sale for Travel to All Destinations

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI) , today launched a sale for travel to all of the airline’s destinations with fares starting as low as $44 each way. These special fares are available for purchase October 4 through October 18, 2005, are good for travel through February 1, 2006, and are not valid for travel on Sundays. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $50 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase in airfare. Ten-day advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by October 18, 2005. Travel must be completed by February 1, 2006. Lowest advertised fares are available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Additional sale fares are valid for travel on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Fares are not valid for travel on Sundays. Seats are limited, subject to availability and may not be available on all flights. Blackout dates are as follows: November 22, 23, 26 – 28; December 21, 2005 – January 3, 2006; and January 16, 2006.
