Remote access solution rockets to one million in less than a year

WOBURN, Mass., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- 3am Labs (http://www.3amlabs.com/), the maker of the LogMeIn family of remote access and administration services, is approaching a milestone -- announcing today an all-expense paid trip for two to the one millionth account holder of Free, Pro, or IT Reach versions of LogMeIn.

Since launching the first commercially-supported, free, web-based remote access service in September 2004, 3am Labs has averaged more than 120,000 new accounts per month.

The winner and a guest will spend seven nights at the Aruba Marriot Resort & Stellaris Casino. The prize will include roundtrip airfare and hotel (for complete contest rules go to https://secure.logmein.com/dmcq/059/home.asp).

LogMeIn (http://www.logmein.com/) is a free service that provides mobile professionals with fast, secure and easy access to their PCs using any computer, or a PDA, with a high-speed Internet connection. They can get on-demand access to their work and home computers -- viewing desktops, files and network resources -- regardless of where they are.

LogMeIn Pro, at $12.95 a month, includes all the features of LogMeIn as well as file transfer and folder synchronization, secure file sharing, and automatic remote-to-local printing. No need to download drivers.

LogMeIn IT Reach (http://itreach.logmein.com/), for $99 per year, is a remote PC and server management and support solution that solves the most time-consuming aspects of administration. IT Reach enables IT services to more easily -- and inexpensively -- track, diagnose and fix remote PC issues.

"Although remote access technology has been around for a while, we developed a way to bring it to everyone -- in a secure, easy-to-use and affordable package," said Michael Simon, CEO, 3am Labs. "We've clearly hit a nerve -- meeting a need not previously served by anything else on the market. And we will continue to introduce products that make remote access an integral and indispensable tool for mobile workers and IT professionals."
