American Airlines Opens New DFW Admirals Club Lounge in International Terminal D

American Offers $50 Discount Off New Annual Memberships Purchased in a DFW Admirals Club Lounge Through Nov. 12

FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines will open the doors to its newest Admirals Club facility at the new international Terminal D at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Saturday, Oct. 29. The club -- DFW's fourth -- occupies 21,000 square feet with a seating capacity of 340.

As part of the DFW Admirals Club grand opening, American is offering a $50 discount for new annual memberships purchased now through Nov. 12. Purchases must be made in-person at any of the DFW Admirals Clubs.

"We are pleased to open this International Admirals Club facility at Dallas/Fort Worth's new international Terminal D," said Nancy Knipp, American's Managing Director of Premium Services. "With the opening of the new Terminal D lounge, we now operate four locations at DFW to serve our members."

Open Sunday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., the club offers complimentary snacks, juice, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Members receive personal assistance with boarding passes, reservations, seat selection and upgrades.

Admirals Club customers can take advantage of the multi-functional business center, which includes personal computers with complimentary high- speed Internet access, PC data ports, telephones, printers, copiers and fax service. Two corporate conference rooms feature high-definition flat screen TVs and cameras to record meeting activities. Other amenities include a cyber cafe, T-Mobile(R) HotSpot Wireless Internet service available with a subscription, spa-like shower facilities, flat-panel televisions with DIRECTV(R) service, and a children's room, which features age-appropriate programming.

American wants every customer to experience the productivity, comfort and convenience offered at its Admirals Club lounges worldwide. The Admirals Club One-Day Pass is available to anyone 18 years or older and can be purchased online at AA.com for just $50 -- an affordable price to pay for everything the Admirals Club lounges offer.

For the first time since 1997, Lifetime Admirals Club Memberships are available for purchase now through Dec. 31, 2005. Current Admirals Club members who upgrade to a Lifetime Membership will receive a $200 discount.
