American Eagle to Begin Service Between New York-JFK and Chicago

New Service Provides Connections to Delhi, India, and More Destinations in Europe

FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — American Eagle announced today that it will offer two daily round-trip flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport beginning Dec. 15. The flights will feature 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 jets.

“This service connects two major international hubs for American Airlines, providing one-stop service around the world for many passengers,” said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. “New York-based travelers can connect to American’s new service to Delhi, India, as well as many cities west of the Mississippi. Chicago-based travelers will be able to connect to nonstop flights between New York and many European, Caribbean and South American markets.”

Kennedy Airport. “American’s new service creates more opportunities for the people and communities of our great state to connect with other people, communities and countries through American’s impressive global network.”

Passengers flying to Kennedy Airport will enjoy American Airlines’ new $1.1 billion terminal. Phase one of the new terminal project opened in August. The new terminal will eventually provide 36 gates, 19 of them for international arrivals, and cover nearly 1.5 million square feet.

**Flight 4682 begins service on Dec. 16.
