Ballroom Dance Action Unscripted and Uncut: Arthur Murray International’s SUPERAMA(R) 2005 in Miami Beach

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ — With world-class ballroom dance routines, fiery costumes and fierce competitions in professional, amateur and pro/am events, SUPERAMA(R) will put its best foot forward at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach, Florida from Thursday, October 27, to Sunday, October 30. Hosted every year by Arthur Murray International, the world’s best-known dance school, SUPERAMA(R) puts more than 400 ballroom dance fans through their paces and provides an incredible array of talent and drama.

“When our students feel like they are ready for an international dance competition, they go to Superama. It’s a thrilling experience for them to compete in a big event, where the competition is real, but the camaraderie and shared enthusiasm create an atmosphere that’s also supportive and encouraging,” said Thomas D. Murdock, Vice President, Marketing for Arthur Murray International.

This year, more than 250 students will travel from cities across the country, taking four days out of their busy lives to participate in Superama. It’s the individual stories of these students and their passion for dance that give the event so much energy and color. These women and men from all walks of life, in all different ages and stages of life, have made ballroom dance a part of their lives. Every person at the event has a story about what happened to them and how their lives were changed when they discovered the world of ballroom. There are as many real life “Shall We Dance?” stories as there are dancers!
