Can’t Stand the Heat? Escape Down Under
AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND – July 30, 2006 – Escape this summer’s blistering temperatures with WORLDHOTELS’ member Stamford Hotels and Resorts, the largest owner and operator of landmark luxury hotels in Australia and New Zealand, who is offering discount “Winter Snuggler” packages at its Australian properties.
With temperatures of around 48 degrees Fahrenheit (9 degrees Celsius), nine Stamford hotels in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide are offering the packages until August 31 at heartwarmingly discounted prices starting from AUD$155 during the Australian winter.
During the promotion, guests will be treated to a warming “Winter Snuggler” cup of hot chocolate on arrival, as well as complimentary breakfast for two.
Rates including tax for either single or double occupancy in a standard room at the individual hotels are:
Sir Stamford at Circular Quay (from AUD $265), Sir Stamford Double Bay (from AUD $190), Stamford Grand North Ryde (from AUD $190) Stamford Plaza Double Bay (from AUD $215), Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport (from AUD $170), Stamford Plaza Brisbane (from AUD $239), Stamford Plaza Adelaide (from AUD $155), Stamford Grand Adelaide (from AUD $155) and Stamford Plaza Melbourne (from AUD $199)
The package at Sydney's Stamford Plaza Double Bay also includes the option for guests to substitute the breakfast for a AUD $40 food and beverage credit to use in the hotel outlets, or a $30 credit at Sir Stamford Double Bay.
