Here, where the jungle spills out to the sea and where these two fascinating cultures come together are the most beautiful beaches to be found in Belize. On one side of the peninsula sits the beautiful Caribbean Sea with the world’s second largest barrier reef, and on the other side, Placencia Lagoon, a placid waterway harboring abundant marine life.
