Best Western Warms Up Travel Season With 2006 Spring Promotion

Gold Crown Club International, Speed Rewards Members Who Stay 6 Nights Between February 12 and May 6 to Receive Free Night Toward Future Stay; AAA Preferred Members Rewarded After Just 5 Nights

PHOENIX, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ — Best Western International is giving travelers something to warm up to with the launch of its 2006 spring promotion, offering frequent guests a free room night anywhere in the world.

From February 12 through May 6, 2006, members of the company’s Gold Crown Club International (GCCI) and NASCAR-themed Speed Rewards loyalty programs who stay a combined total of six nights at any Best Western hotel will earn complimentary accommodations for one evening with a future stay.

Members of the AAA Preferred Gold Crown Club program, a select class of GCCI, will receive the free night voucher after just five nights, along with a 10 percent bonus on base points earned with each stay.

“With our spring promotion, guests can turn a free room night into a more affordable, or better yet, longer vacation this summer,” said Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing for Best Western International. “While visiting any one of our unique 4,200 properties across the globe — including historic castles; pet-friendly hotels; even Best Westerns with state-of-the- art water parks — travelers can experience the commitment to quality and value that has defined the Best Western brand since 1946.”

To be eligible for the promotion, guests must reside in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean or Asia, and be members of either GCCI, Speed Rewards or the AAA Preferred program. Pre-registration is also required. Individuals who are not already members may join the program of their choice when registering for the offer. Membership is free.
