The Blvd Restaurant in Beverly Hills at The Regent Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 13 /PRNewswire/ — Modernly elegant and sophisticated, The Blvd at The Regent Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, provides a chic destination in the heart of Beverly Hills. The newly redesigned space features a world-class restaurant, distinctive bar and inviting new outdoor patio overlooking Rodeo Drive. The Blvd is the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, a power lunch, an afternoon break or a sexy night out on the town.

The Regent Beverly Wilshire revamped its Lobby Lounge both in decor and menu to usher in a new era of modern elegance. Working closely with award-winning architectural interior design firm Barry Design, The Blvd’s luxurious new signature style combines clean design with sumptuous details. “Our goal was to provide our hotel guests and the community with a premiere dining experience in a lively atmosphere. It’s not simply a Lobby Lounge anymore,” says Radha Arora, General Manager of The Regent Beverly Wilshire.

The Blvd’s focal point is the bar, topped with 18 feet of luminous onyx that imparts a soft light on the underlying black granite flooring ribboned with white onyx pinstripes. A striking 11 1/2 foot high clear acrylic wine display designed to house the restaurant’s 1000-bottle wine collection is backlit with ivory-colored panels to illuminate the bottles with a jewel-like radiance. As a nod to the hotel’s heritage, two of the original chandeliers continue to sparkle in The Blvd merging the classic with the contemporary. The room’s sensual color palette of ambers, chocolates and golds compliment the Macassar ebony and lacewood millwork. The rich lacewood walls surround distinctive rosewood tables and dining chairs covered in buttery, honey- colored leather. “The Art Deco movement was the original inspiration for The Blvd along with the warm, elegant European style of the property. The look of The Blvd is modern without being over the top and filled with subtle yet opulent touches throughout the space,” says Robert Barry, a leader in the industry with over 30 years of experience.

The Blvd menu, created by Chef de Cuisine Scott Thomas Dolbee, offers global cuisine combining traditional menu selections with unique dishes such as Kumamoto oysters and spicy tuna tartar with sake mignonette, seared scallops and crispy sweetbreads with grilled white asparagus and Shimeji mushrooms or grilled lamb “rib eye” with French navy bean cassoulet, basque sausage and harrisa lamb jus. “I was inspired by global cuisines to create contemporary and distinctive dishes for The Blvd,” says Dolbee. “I wanted to design a menu that was elegant and sexy.”

Exclusive to The Blvd is the “Baccaratini,” a cocktail served with a Baccarat Crystal Vega martini glass. The Blvd offers a special menu of “Baccaratinis” for $185.00 each which includes four featured cocktails served in color-coordinating Baccarat Crystal Vega martini glasses that guests receive as a souvenir: Dirty Martini in a Baccarat Clear Crystal glass, Cosmopolitan Martini in a Baccarat Ruby glass, Green Apple Martini in a Baccarat Olive glass and the Bombay Sapphire Gin Martini in a Baccarat Sapphire glass.
