bmi Offers Special Fare Sale From $249 to England
WASHINGTON, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- bmi is offering a sale from March 30th through April 23rd on its transatlantic flights from Washington Dulles to Manchester, England or London Heathrow via Manchester for $249 round-trip in economy, $449 in premium economy and $2099 in business class for travel through April 30, 2005. For an additional $166 per fare class, travelers can fly to the Scottish cities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow via Manchester.
Besides the low price, bmi permits one stopover in Manchester in either direction on the London or Scottish fares.
These special fares are non-refundable and require a Saturday overnight stay. Changes may be made after departure for a $150 fee. Children's fares are also available at a reduced rate. Taxes and fees are not included and may vary from $105 to $200, depending on the fare class. Tickets must be purchased within 72 hours of making reservation or seven days prior to departure, whichever is first.
bmi offers daily nonstop flights to Manchester, England from Washington Dulles except on Tuesdays. The airline's transatlantic service features the Airbus A330 aircraft with three classes of service and offers state-of-the-art video equipment with individual seat back screens featuring 16 audio and 20 video channels as well as the latest Nintendo(TM) and classic PC games. Passengers also have a bird's eye view of their journey throughout the flight as a result of cameras mounted on the nose and belly of the aircraft.
Business class passengers receive extra pampering with their own chef, catering to their culinary tastes on every transatlantic flight. Using convection ovens, steamers and even a saucepan, the chef (trained as a bmi flight attendant) prepares the meals according to the passengers' preferences.
As a member of Star Alliance, bmi passengers can earn miles on any Star Alliance member's frequent flyer program when flying bmi including United Airlines.
