Cabela’s Plans Grand Opening Events September 9-18, 2005

Lehi Festivities to Include Celebrities and Hunting, Fishing Experts

LEHI, Utah, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ — Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, is planning its Grand Opening activities September 9-18, 2005 at its new 173,000-square-foot store in Lehi, Utah. The 10-day Grand Opening festivities will feature celebrities and hunting and fishing experts sharing stories and advice. Grand Opening giveaways and special prices on clothing and merchandise will also be offered.

Celebrities attending the Grand Opening include former Dallas Cowboy Randy White; golf legend Johnny Miller; and outdoor TV personalities Larry Weishuhn, Jack Brittingham, Cee Dub and Phil Phillips. Other special guests include hunting and fishing authorities, expert dog trainers, wild game chefs, authors and wildlife artists.

In addition, Cabela’s co-founder Dick Cabela and his wife, Mary, will sign copies of their hunting chronicles “Two Hearts, One Passion,” Friday through Sunday, September 9-11, from 10-noon & 1-3pm.

Cabela’s ( http://www.cabelas.com/ ) is located on Interstate 15 at the SR92 Alpine Highland Highway interchange in the Traverse Mountain Development near Thanksgiving Point. Store hours are Monday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m., and 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday.
