This year as CMH Introduces Holiday Family Heli-Skiing At the Adamants and Gothics

New York, NY - October 18, 2006: For many people, Christmas isn't Christmas without snow. For CMH (Canadian Mountain Holidays) - the world's largest helicopter skiing company, Christmas isn't Christmas without a lot of snow...and a whole lot of Heli-Skiing. This year, following the success of its first ever Family Heli-Skiing Christmas trip in 2005 at the Cariboo Lodge, CMH is offering two Family Heli-Skiing trips -one to the Adamant Lodge amid Western Canada's Selkirk Mountains, and the other to the Gothics Lodge, with access to both the Northern Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges. From December 23 - 30, 2006, parents, and children between the ages of 12 and 17, can ski an immense variety of runs at both lodges - from a rich palette of tree skiing to open glacier skiing. As far as Winter Wonderlands go, it doesn't get better than this.

Surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery, the whole family starts the day off by hitting the slopes. Parents will ski with their children until the kids get tired. The kids are then helicoptered back to the lodge where a variety of supervised activities is on offer -- including a climbing wall, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, building igloos and snowmen, and doing crafts in the lodge. In the evening, a family dinner will be served with special menu choices for the kids. Adding to the festive atmosphere, there will be Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations, including a tree with real candles, menorah lightings, and presents for everyone in the lodge.

The price for the week at the Adamants is CAN $5,413 (US $4763*) for adults and CAN $2,708 (US $2382*) for children and at the Gothics, the price for the week is CAN $5276 (US $4643*) for adults and CAN $2638 (US $2321) for children. Adults are guaranteed 100,000 vertical feet of skiing; for children, the guarantee is 50,000 vertical feet, which takes the pressure off kids to stay out all day. Parents with children under age 12 who they consider capable of Heli-Skiing should call CMH to discuss the possibility. Smaller, non-skiing children are welcome at no charge, but parents must provide childcare -- a special non-skiing "nanny" rate is available for CAN $1,071 (US $961*) To book, contact CMH reservations at 1-800-661-0252.

For further information and reservations, call 1-800-661-0252, or visit http://www.CanadianMountainHolidays.com.
