Cincinnati International Wine Festival Announces Tickets Are on Sale Now

The Midwest’s Premier Wine Event Will Bring over 130 World Renowned Wineries to Cincinnati, March 24-25, 2006, to Celebrate Wine and Raise Funds for Area Charities

CINCINNATI, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ — Tickets are now on sale for the 16th Annual Cincinnati International Wine Festival, March 24-25, 2006. The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is a series of wine-centric events that culminate in the Grand Tastings at Cinergy Center, downtown. Over 6,000 wine lovers, connoisseurs and novices, will attend the Winery Dinners on March 23 and the Grand Tastings on March 24 and 25. Koerner Rombauer, owner of Rombauer Vineyards, will serve as Honorary Chair. Participating wineries include Michel-Schlumberger, Robert Mondavi Winery, Guenoc, Kendall Jackson, Francis Coppola, Diageo Chateau and Estate Wines, Frank Family Vineyards, Ravenswood Winery, Wente Family Estates and Fess Parker Winery.

This year the Grand Tastings will move to a larger space at Cinergy Center to accommodate this fast-growing, prestigious event. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with famous winemakers, sample hundreds of award-winning wines, learn from leaders in the field and enjoy gourmet treats and live music. Each guest will receive a Reidel wine glass and Tasting Guide.

As a prelude to the Grand Tastings, the Linton Chamber Music Series hosts a “Taste of Champagne” at Cinergy Center from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

The Winery Dinners pair a winery and a top Cincinnati restaurant for an evening of sumptuous multi-course dinners, great stories and a shared passion.
