About Billion Dollar Beach

Billion Dollar Beach includes over one billion dollars in private development – a mix of hotel accommodations and residential condominiums – and Beach Walk, the City of Clearwater’s $30 million beautification program.

Private development includes Hyatt’s Aqualea Resort and Residences, Indigo Beach Residences and Indigo Beach Suites, the Kiran Grand Resort & Spa and the Sandpearl Resort. These developments are expected to attract additional amenities and favorably impact other businesses, Clearwater residents and the tourism economy overall. Clearwater’s tourism officials hailed the “dramatic renaissance” as the most significant improvement to Clearwater’s tourism infrastructure in decades.
