Queens' Gate Becomes Third Concorde Hotel in London

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/30/2005 -- The 4-star Royal Lancaster has just joined Concorde Hotels' US Dollar Guaranteed Rate program, saving approximately 50% off the rack rate in pounds sterling. More than 30 high-end properties in Europe, the Middle East and Asia participate in the Concorde Group's US Dollar Guaranteed Rate program, in order to make a stay more affordable for Americans concerned about fluctuating currency exchange rates.

Located in central London just minutes from Marble Arch and the famous shopping districts of Oxford and Bond Street, the 416-room Royal Lancaster is offering a deluxe room for $190 (Friday - Sunday) or $230 (Monday - Thursday), compared to a rack rate of 247 pounds (equivalent to $447 at press time). This US dollar guaranteed rate even beats the 148 pounds ($267) special weekend rate on the hotel's own website. With a panoramic view of Hyde Park, the contemporarily styled Royal Lancaster is a favorite with leisure and business travelers, and has been named "Best UK Hotel Meetings category" several times by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine.

Concorde's US dollar guaranteed rates are valid through December 31, 2005 and are subject to availability. Not available on the Concorde website, these US dollar rates for US travelers can only be booked by calling Concorde's North American reservation center at 1-800-888-4747.
