Consulting Magazine Announces Its Best Places to Stay Ranking
NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/26/2005 -- The editors of Consulting Magazine today published the findings of its Best Places to Stay survey, a ranking that exposes the likes and dislikes of consulting professionals within the industry's leading firms.
Included among the most anticipated findings in the survey of several hundred consultants is a ranking of favorite hotels, in which this year Westin Hotels & Resorts edged out The Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton to become the consulting world's hotel of choice. This year's ranking, along with an article discussing the likes and dislikes of consulting road warriors, is currently available on http://www.ConsultingMag.com. Once again, the survey's findings left little doubt that consultants top the list of the world's best-traveled road warriors. Of the several hundred consultants who completed the magazine's survey:
-- 31% spent over 125 nights on the road each year (and 57% over 50
nights)
-- 47% take more than 8 flights per month (and 71% take more than 4
flights)
-- 65% of reservations are made by the consultant or his/her admin
assistant vs. a travel coordinator and are most influenced (60%) by their
own needs and preferences vs. their firm's (23%) or client's (17%)
preferences
