Airline Provides Ticketing Flexibility

HOUSTON, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) today announced that it is maintaining normal operations as it closely monitors Hurricane Rita's progress into the Gulf of Mexico. The decision as to what changes, if any, to make to operations and schedules will be made tomorrow afternoon.

Customers who are not scheduled to travel within the next three days may wish to delay making any changes to an existing itinerary until Monday. Customers who have immediate travel plans to/from/through Louisiana or Texas which may be affected by the hurricane may reschedule or reroute travel once, without a penalty.
