Continental Will Accommodate Passenger Travel Needs in Case Venezuelan Government Cancels Flights
HOUSTON, March 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) announced that it will try to accommodate travel needs of passengers flying to and from Caracas, through its extensive network into the region, in case the Venezuela government suspends the operating rights of U.S. airlines on March 30, 2006. Continental will also allow passengers to exchange tickets without penalties and to get full refunds.
At this time, no flights have been canceled and operations continue normally. Continental remains committed to the Venezuela market and to providing its regular, consistent, high-quality service from its Houston and New York area hubs, and hopes that the negotiations between the National Institute of Civil Aviation (INAC) and the FAA will develop positively in the next days.
