Continental Connection Announces New Nonstop Service From the Lehigh Valley International Airport to Boston

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., March 17 /PRNewswire/ — CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection announced today it will commence new daily nonstop service from the Lehigh Valley International Airport (LVIA) to Boston’s Logan International Airport. The airline will offer the only nonstop flights to Boston from LVIA when the service begins on April 18, 2005.

“We realize travelers in the Northeast Pennsylvania and Northern New Jersey areas are in need of convenient flights to Boston, so we are pleased to be able to offer this new nonstop service,” said Lonnie Sweet, CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection’s Director of Ground Services. “We’ve researched the market and realized a void that needed to be filled since US Airways stopped serving this market in 2004. We expect the Boston route to be popular with both business and leisure travelers.”

“We are pleased to have this new service that restores our nonstop link to the Boston and New England Region,” commented George F. Doughty, Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority Executive Director.

The new CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection flights complement existing Continental service for LVIA including daily, nonstop jet service to Continental’s Cleveland Hopkins hub and bus connections to its New York/Newark International hub. Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-523-FARE (3273) or on the web at http://www.continental.com/ or by calling your favorite travel agent.
