Delta Customers May Change Travel Plans Without Penalties or Fees
Tropical Storm Dennis creates low ceilings, high winds and heavy rain in the Caribbean region
ATLANTA, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines' (NYSE:DAL) customers booked on flights traveling to or from select cities in the Caribbean region may make adjustments to their travel schedule due to the impact of Tropical Storm Dennis.
Customers who purchased a ticket by July 6, 2005, and are scheduled to travel July 6-9, 2005, to, from or through select cities on Delta, Song(R), or Delta Connection(R), or Delta-coded flights, may make a one-time change without penalty or additional fees if tickets are changed by July 18, 2005, and travel beginning on or before July 18, 2005. Changes to origins and destinations may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking.
Customers whose flights are cancelled may request refunds. All customers are encouraged to visit delta.com for the latest news on Tropical Storm Dennis, in addition to their local airport's web site, prior to departure.
Impacted cities include the following (note: list may not be complete):
- Key West, FL
- Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
- Kingston, Jamaica
- Montego Bay, Jamaica
