Getting to the ‘Big Easy’ Easier Than Ever

Delta Connection begins non-stop service between Little Rock, Ark., New Orleans on Sept. 13

Also offers two additional flights between New Orleans and Orlando

NEW ORLEANS, July 26 /PRNewswire/ — Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) is putting more “easy” into travel to the “Big Easy” — New Orleans — with new non-stop service starting Sept. 13, 2005. Delta Connection carrier Comair will offer customers two daily roundtrip flights between New Orleans and Little Rock, Arkansas using the popular Bombardier regional jet. Comair is also adding two non-stop flights between New Orleans and Orlando, Fla., for a total of five daily flights between the two popular tourist destinations.

“We have scheduled these flights so that customers flying between Little Rock and New Orleans can do business in either city and return home the same day,” said J.T. Fisher, president, Delta Connection Inc. “Leisure travelers will enjoy the fact that the morning departure from Little Rock and the afternoon return flight are also well-timed to connect with cruise ships leaving from and returning to the port of New Orleans.”

The new Delta Connection flights expand the existing Delta service offered in Little Rock, said Deborah Schwartz, executive director at Little Rock National Airport.

“Delta has been a valued partner in Little Rock since 1943, and Delta was the first carrier to offer regional jet service at our airport,” Schwartz said. “We are very pleased to have these new flights that complement our current service to Delta’s hubs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Salt Lake City, as well as to the popular tourist destination of Orlando, Fla.”
