Holiday Helpers Take to the Terminals, Airport Debuts New Family - Friendly Play Areas & Announces Travel Forecast
WHAT: Record-breaking summer travel may mean long lines and frazzled families elsewhere - but not at DFW. The Airport debuts its Junior Flyer's Club, a children's play area in both Terminal B and C. In addition, DFW will discuss its summer travel forecast.
DFW's Chief Operating Officer Kevin Cox will throw out the first pitch of the summer travel season. Cox will be joined by local mascots from the Texas Rangers, Dallas Rough Riders, Fort Worth Cats and Fort Worth Flyers.
DFW's Holiday Helpers program will be in full force with employees and Airport Ambassadors distributing summer travel goodies to passengers with live entertainment throughout the Airport all day.
Prior to the news conference mascots will greet the U.S. Military's Rest and Recuperation flight in International Terminal D. In addition, the Fort Worth Cats will be offering free tickets to returning soldiers for their May 31 home game.
