Dollar Rent A Car Offers Triple Miles on Eight Airlines for Reservations Made on Dollar.com
TULSA, Okla., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE:DTG) will offer its customers triple frequent flyer miles with eight airline partners. The offer is valid at participating Dollar locations worldwide for rentals picked up between Aug. 15, 2005, and Dec. 15, 2005.
A minimum two-day rental from Dollar is required. Qualifying rentals must be booked in advance on http://www.dollar.com/ or by calling 1-800-800-4000 using promotion code TRP5, and applies only to mid-size cars and above. Cars must be picked up between Aug. 15, 2005, and Dec. 15, 2005. Triple miles will only be awarded for a maximum of seven days per rental. After seven days, miles will be awarded at the normal level.
Consumers should visit http://www.dollar.com/travel_partners to select the airline with which they would like to earn triple miles (please see details below for specifics on each airline program) and should provide their frequent flyer number at the time of rental.
Alaska Mileage Plan, American AAdvantage, America West FlightFund, Continental OnePass and Delta SkyMiles members can earn 150 miles per day -- three times their normal mileage award of 50 miles per rental day.
Northwest WorldPerks and US Airways Dividend Miles members can earn triple miles of 750 miles per transaction -- three times their normal award of 250 miles per transaction -- during the promotional period.
United Mileage Plus members earn 900 miles per transaction -- triple the usual 300 miles per transaction -- for qualifying rentals.
