EL AL Extends Spring Airfare Promotion From U.S.A. to Israel and Adds Special Discounts for Families and Seniors

New York, NY – March 9, 2006 – EL AL, Israel’s national airline, is offering Early Bird savings, family fares, and discounts for passengers over 60 on roundtrip airfares for travel from the U.S.A. to Israel between April 1 and June 15, 2006.

To take advantage of special Early Bird spring fares, passengers need to purchase a roundtrip ticket to Israel by March 23, 2006. Passengers from New York (JFK/Newark) can fly nonstop this spring roundtrip for $755; from Chicago and Atlanta for $835; nonstop from Miami for $875; and nonstop from Los Angeles for $935.

Anyone over the age of 60 as well as families traveling with two adults and children under 12 can enjoy savings on the following spring fares: $855 from New York (nonstop from JFK/Newark), Boston, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Washington, DC; $935 from Chicago, Atlanta, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Detroit; $975 from Miami (nonstop), Denver, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Minneapolis (St. Paul), Orlando, West Palm Beach, Phoenix, San Antonio, St. Louis and Tampa Bay; and $1,035 from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Francisco and Salt Lake City.

Anyone over the age of 60 booking these special roundtrip spring fares will receive a 15% savings. Families traveling with two adults and children under 12 can enjoy savings of between 25% and 50%; the first child will receive a 25% discount, the second, a 33% discount, and the third through fifth child can each travel at a savings of 50%.
